verses dipped in gray inkhis blue sky failed to turn pinkcolor changed faster than lightlove in gray his soul screamsmoon obscured by the foghe dreamed about what he can't reach
tattoos are hard to get offhis mind made him a slaverefused to burn in that firehe decided to stay at same placewishing on that wishful starhe burned his pride and let his tears rain
picked like a flower in the stormby tyrant monsters like its a fun gamehurt his pride, and took his crownhis days never saw daylightin that dark haze brought by the stormsearch for a beacon came to an end
live as an alien in his own townin void of someone, he couldn't lift up his quillblood moon and screams in his headpain and bruises stuck under his skinparted ways when times were roughhis quietude and joy's eclipse
About this poem
Written on- April 22, 2024
This poem is a summation, an account of this poet's life till the age of 18. Every fight, every ache, every hurt, every feeling, all summed up in this poem, as i head into next chapter and prepare to be 19. "His Story" is the title that i came up for this poem and now that i think about it, it best suited this poem.
I loved this poem. I hope you are doing okay now.
ReplyDeleteThis poem was very confusing when i read it first. I mean i get what you were trying to say but it started to make even more sense when i read your poems after this one. You should have put this as last poem but i get it. You are the creator of this work.
