Daisy Summer: A Poetry Series
For so long, i have been wanting to write poems about summer. Its not really my favorite season. To be honest, i don't know which one is my favorite but winter is certainly not my favorite because fog covered grounds are only pretty when you are sad and i hate being that person (even though i am). My favorite would be the time when spring transitions into the summer. These are the poems that i have written after careful thought, observation, and listening to music that makes me feel like standing in a field of daisy with my eyes closed as cold wind in evening hits my face with music so loud and as i open my eyes, sun is going down while sea waves crashes to the foot of a cliff. This title "Daisy Summer" is something that i came up with randomly. Since i love using flowers in my work to express a certain feeling, i think there is no other flower as daisy that could represent the innocence, new beginnings, warmth in such a way. I have tried my best to paint that summer nostalgia, memories in the best way possible. This poetry series is full of nostalgia and longing for a time when life was not hard.
