i wanted you to smile
and just look at me

About
This poem was written by me on August 21, 2024 and it is about when you end up hurting someone you never wanted to and even under that situation, they are so composed that you can't tell the look on their face and this deepening silence continues to haunt you. This poem is about a friend, whose loss i still mourn in my sleep.
Below is a video shared by an artist, who used this poem to convey how she felt. To be honest, it is basically a work of art when you see someone take something and turn it into magical. I loved it so much. And i'll forever think about this. thank you so much.
